The Window is comprised of three sections which represent
The Trinity -- Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Symbols:
Eight-Point Star whose members are equal traditionally represent the Eight Beatitudes or spiritual regeneration from Baptism.
The Winged Creature with a Man's Face represents Matthew because his Gospel narrative traces Jesus' human genealogy.
The Lamp -- another symbol for the Word of God. Probably coming from Psalm 119:105, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet."
The Eagle -- the high soaring eagle is the emblem of John because in his narrative he rises to loftiest heights in dealing with the mind of Christ.
Cross -- Cross in Glory -- Latin Cross, long upright most widely used form among Christians.
Jesus with Children -- "Let the children come to Me!" Jesus cried." Matthew 19:14
The Anchor Cross -- used by early Christians in the Catacombs. Originated in ancient Egypt.
Five-Point Star is the most common secular star. Became popular when it came to be known as the Star of Epiphany or appearance of Christ.
Lion with Wings -- Winged creature with a lion's face is the symbol for Mark because his Gospel narrative begins with "The Voice of one crying in the wilderness" and this suggests the roar of a lion.
The Open Bible symbolizes the Word of God.
Winged Creature with the Head of an Ox -- Luke is symbolized by the ox, the animal of sacrifice, since Luke stresses the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.
